AI Growth Partnership

Project Healthcare, presented by Oracle Health

Oracle Health takes the presenting title on Nashville's healthcare accelerator and becomes EC's AI Growth Partner across every program. In return: first access to every AI-native founder in EC's pipeline, a sourcing engine that turns Oracle Health's stated problems into founder-built pilots, a named home at the EC, and a talent channel into Nashville's founder economy.

01

Brand

Oracle Health's name on the program, the tier, the room, and the two nights a year the whole city shows up.

  • The title on Nashville's healthcare accelerator
  • EC's AI Growth Partner — category-exclusive
  • A named room at 41 Peabody Street
Presenting partner
Project Healthcare, presented by Oracle Health

On the program title, the application page on ec.co, every cohort announcement, founder story, and the private pitch at cohort end. The HealthStream sub-cohort runs underneath it.

Growth partner tier
EC's AI Growth Partner

Across TakeOff, InFlight, and Project Healthcare — the same tier EC uses for its legal and financial growth partners. No other AI or cloud company holds it while Oracle Health does.

Named space
The Oracle Room

The EC's premier meeting room, renamed. Office hours, AI meetups, Reverse Pitch breakouts, and cohort programming happen here — the room 556 founders a year use.

Public moments
NEXT Awards · Nashville Entrepreneur Day

Recognition and a presenting position at both: October at the Schermerhorn, December at GEODIS Park. Every founder, funder, and health system leader in the city, in one room.

02

Access

First look at every founder building with AI in EC's pipeline — and the engineering time that makes founders remember who helped.

  • A 1:1 with any founder building with AI, first
  • First right of refusal on all EC content about AI
  • No obligation on any of it
Founder 1:1s
Any AI-native founder, before anyone else

EC flags every AI-native company entering any program. Oracle Health picks who to meet; EC schedules it.

Oracle's commitment: yes or no to a list.
AI content
First right of refusal

Any EC session, series, or piece of content about AI is offered to Oracle Health first — to present, co-brand, or pass.

Oracle's commitment: a response within two weeks.
Office hours
Founder office hours with Oracle engineers

Four founders, 25 minutes each, back to back. They bring a real architecture problem; an Oracle cloud solution architect says what to build and what to skip.

Oracle's commitment: 2–3 engineers, 2 hours, quarterly.
Cloud credits
An allocation, deployed against a rubric

For Project Healthcare and AI-native founders. EC deploys it against a rubric Oracle Health approves and reports on it quarterly.

Oracle's commitment: the credits, and the rubric sign-off.
03

Reverse Pitch

A process, not a day. Oracle Health names its problems, EC recruits founders against them, and a defined pathway turns matches into working pilots. Twice a year.

  • 3–5 challenges in, each with an owner and a KPI
  • 50+ curated founders, one Pitch Day
  • 2–5 pilots launched within six months

The venture-client model — BMW Startup Garage, Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, Mayo Clinic Platform_Accelerate, Optum Startup Studio — applied to Oracle Health's priorities and Nashville's founder base.

Phase 1 · Weeks 1–4
Challenge definition

Oracle Health names 3–5 problems, each framed around a business unit, a measurable KPI, and a defined outcome. EC runs a working session to make each one buildable.

Oracle: 3–5 challenge owners, one 2-hour session. EC: facilitation, problem statements.
Phase 2 · Weeks 4–10
Curated sourcing

EC recruits founders against the challenges through Project Healthcare's national pipeline, HLTH, and its 244-company alumni base. Oracle Health refers companies it knows. Shortlist, not inbox.

Oracle: referrals, shortlist review. EC: recruitment, screening, founder prep.
Phase 3 · Week 12
Pitch Day, in the Oracle Room

Oracle Health leaders present each challenge. Founders self-select into breakouts with the Oracle Health team. Structured rotations put every founder in front of the person who owns their problem.

Oracle: challenge owners present, half a day. EC: venue, format, audience, follow-up.
Phase 4 · 90 days after
Pilot sprint and private readout

A stated pathway: who evaluates, on what basis, on what timeline, with streamlined procurement. Clear IP terms, defined data-sharing, no lock-in. At 90 days, a private readout to Oracle Health leadership.

Oracle: one named pilot evaluator. EC: facilitation, tracking, reporting.

Talent

Oracle's Nashville build is an engineering build. Recruiting to a new city is easier when the people you're recruiting can see a founder economy they could join, mentor, or hire from. Six plays, each with a number.

  • A reason to stay
  • A place to mentor
  • A founder economy to hire from
Advisors
12 Oracle engineers in the EC advisor network by end of year one

Matched to one company per cohort, about an hour a month. A roster, not a sentiment.

Onboarding
Nashville immersion for relocating hires

Half a day, quarterly. The founder economy, the health systems, the people who built the city's innovation base. The city becomes a reason to stay.

Hiring channel
Founders to Oracle Health, first

Founders who exit, wind down, or want an operating role are the most experienced hires in the market. EC knows where they are across 244 alumni companies.

Buildathon
48 hours, annual, on EC's campus

Oracle Health engineers and EC founders build on Oracle Health data and APIs for a weekend, outside Oracle's building. EC runs it; Oracle supplies the problem and the people.

Intrapreneur seats
2 reserved seats per TakeOff cohort

Oracle employees with an idea go through TakeOff alongside founders. The employee tests the idea without leaving; Oracle keeps the person either way.

Stack audits
6–8 tech stack audits a year

An Oracle engineer reviews a founder's architecture and delivers a written readout. About 4 hours each. Founders get expertise they can't buy; engineers see how startups build.

05

Relationship

One partnership, two doors. This is the Oracle Health half; the community and OCI work already underway continues alongside it, with one point of contact at EC.

  • An invitation to nominate an executive to the EC board
  • Multi-year, non-dilutive, contract on agreement
  • Quarterly reporting on everything countable
Board invitation
Nominate an Oracle Health executive

The board is chaired by Saurabh Sinha of emids and includes leaders from Nashville's health systems, platforms, and financial institutions. Offered because of the depth of the partnership, not as a term of it.

Two doors
Oracle Health and Oracle's Nashville community team

EC is already working with Oracle's community and OCI team on engineer-hosted meetups, founder office hours, and a Q2 2027 immersion visit. That continues. This proposal adds the program, the title, the sourcing engine, and the health-specific talent plays.

Agreement
Scope, commitments, annual investment

Project Healthcare is non-dilutive: EC takes no equity and does not invest. Any pilot, investment, or commercial relationship between Oracle Health and a founder is negotiated directly, separate from the program, with no IP assignment or exclusivity.

Timeline
From call to first cycle

Fall 2026 — follow-up call, three questions answered, terms confirmed.
Winter — announcement, the Oracle Room named, first office hours.
Spring 2027 — Project Healthcare presented by Oracle Health; first Reverse Pitch cycle.
Summer onward — pilot readout, buildathon, second cycle, quarterly reporting.

Three questions before contract

  1. Who is the executive sponsor?A name EC can share with founders, and who owns the relationship inside Oracle Health.
  2. What are the first three challenges? The problems Oracle Health wants founders building against — or who EC should work with to define them.
  3. Who evaluates a pilot? The person and the timeline. Not a guaranteed pilot; a guaranteed process.
